Course Content
Section 1: Short-Term Context
Do the token arithmetic for a single conversation, then keep it inside a fixed budget with sliding windows, summaries and caching.
Section 2: Long-Term Memory
Give an assistant memory that outlives the session: vector recall, better retrieval and caching, and versioned facts that stay true as users' lives change.
Section 3: Mini-Project
Build a command-line assistant that remembers users across restarts, updates facts when they change, and proves it with tests.
